黃金田：廣西博白縣東片鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)的一個(gè)小山村，始建于公元1912年，距今已有108年歷史。那時(shí)祖公闕維五字福田與妻子劉妙福攜四個(gè)兒子從老屋大萬(wàn)田創(chuàng)建黃金田村。
解放時(shí)全村只有11戶，共有人丁38口，至2020年全村人口共有285人，36戶人家?？芍^枝繁葉茂，丁財(cái)雙隆。
黃金田人才輩出，分布各行各業(yè)。如今全村大學(xué)生幾十名，轉(zhuǎn)業(yè)、退伍軍人十幾名，在外創(chuàng)業(yè)、經(jīng)商、務(wù)工人員不計(jì)其數(shù)。
黃金田村環(huán)境建設(shè)頗具規(guī)模，兩條環(huán)城公路環(huán)繞至村，兩溪環(huán)抱 ，聚風(fēng)藏氣。村路兩旁綠樹成蔭，花草成行，整個(gè)村莊整潔干凈，屋宇建設(shè)別致，一派美麗鄉(xiāng)村新氣象。故此被玉林市評(píng)為“美麗玉林百佳村屯”稱號(hào)，被博白縣評(píng)為“美麗博白十佳村屯”榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)，并列入博白鄉(xiāng)村建設(shè)示范村。
